At Cheam practice on Monday, Wednesday,Thursday & Saturdays
My goal is to improve and maintain your overall health and to empower you with an understanding of your condition and wellness plan. If you want to find the root cause of your pain and resolve it in the long-term then let's get started today on your path to your life-long wellness....starting with your feet today.
Call me if you are serious about getting it sorted for good.
This involves a thorough examination of your how you stand, walk , muscular imbalance or weakness, posture analysis, any leg length discrepancies plus examinations and tests related to your pain. This will help in diagnosing why you may be in pain which may be chronic or recurrent in nature. If the pain is acute and inflammation is present due to a recent injury, stress or strain then a biomechanical assessment will not be possible at this time and I will create a short -term management plan for you. Establishing the cause of any imbalance or misalignment of your body may be the basis of a multitude of health issues you may be encountering in your body.
I provide a specialist service in pain management stemming from a biomechanical or postural issue.
A treatment plan will be suggested to suit your needs specifically and my aim is to alleviate your symptoms in the long-term or permanently. My goal is to keep you mobile for longer and without pain. Obviously, if you present with an issue which is beyond my scope of practice or where surgical intervention may be advocated then I will point you in the right direction and refer you to someone appropriately.
If you have been experiencing pain in your body due to poor allignment, imbalance, injury or recurrent problems for a long period of time then maybe now is the time to do something about it and get to the root cause of that chronic or recurrent issue.
A full assessment will provide a diagnosis and your treatment will be tailored specifically to your needs with a holistic and realistic approach. I can prescribe custom-made or off-the-shelf orthoses together with stretching and strengthening exercises to help manage your pain and get you on the path to well-ness.
My new skill is incorporated in your treatment plan for pain and stiffness from hip downwards
I still get a buzz when I have been able to help alleviate pain
If the client leaves with a smile then I know I have done my job well
Your foot is a structural masterpiece

BE SAFE-STAY SAFE-PROTECT ALL
I have always believed that when one is armed with the knowlege of healing from within then everything else has a ripple effect in all areas of ones life. My ethos has always been "one can never learn enough" and I have continued to keep learning by attending many post-graduate courses through-out my career and provide my services in a unique and holistic way to suit my client's need. I am totally dedicated to improving, maintaining and hopefully preventing long-term problems and can create a path to your well-being and health.
An imbalance in your posture, be it structural ( bony ) or soft tissue ( muscular) can have a detrimental effect on your whole being. I also use natural holistic remedies and always favour these to conventional therapies. Please see testimonials and reviews section for feedback from my customers recently seen.
Since qualifying, I have worked at various NHS organisations in London and the South East with a specialist interest in high risk diabetes care which links in with the biomechanics specialism. I set up D & D Health LTD in 2000 to provide a full comprehensive podiatry (chiropody) service available at various sites in Surrey.
I gradually reduced my hours within the NHS as my private practice(and expanding family) required more of my time.
In 2008 after having worked 21 years in the NHS, I finally decided to completely go it alone and concentrate solely on my very busy private practice business operating at 3 sites - Cheam, Wimbledon and Kingston.
In 2016, I was taken ill and I had to reduce my work-load and completely rethink my whole work-life-family balance.
I returned back to work in 2017 as a sole practitioner at D & D Health Podiatry Services to operate from 2 sites only - Cheam and Kingston. This company was closed in April 2023 as I only practice as a sole trader and from the Cheam address.
